Art in the Time of... explores the profound and poetic ways artists confront, adapt to, and document their place in the timeline of history.

Whether it is art in the time of exileart in the time of protest, or art in the time of silence, each work in this show is a marker of lived experience—personal or collective, visible or internal.

This exhibit is more than a snapshot of a moment. It is a chorus of artists shaping meaning in uncertain times—amplifying the role of creative expression as archive, resistance, refuge, and renewal.

As an exhibition, this project highlights the power of art to transcend borders, spaces, and even physical limitations, embodying IAA-USA’s mission to support artists and uphold artistic freedom worldwide.

submit up to 2 artworks for consideration- files named with Artist and title

*Shipped Actual Artworks cannot be larger than:

  • 1728 cubic inches, and

  • 50 lbs per parcel.

Here are a few size examples within those constraints:

  • 24" × 1" × 72"

  • 24" × 2" × 36"

  • 24" × 3" × 24"

  • 24" × 4" × 18"

High quality framed prints or giclees accepted as scaled down versions of originals if desired. Price accordingly.

*Exception: Accepted works that are delivered to and picked up from the gallery do not have this size restraint. ALSO, work that the artist agrees to ship back at their own cost.

*For shipped artwork, IAA-USA will pay for return shipping provided the parcel remains within the size and weight restraints.

Submission Email - subject line: type “Awita” and Artist last name.


In the email body-

Include artist’s name, member #

state of residence,

title of artwork,

dimensions,

medium

and price



Each image file must be:

·        150-300 DPI with file name of Artist/artwork title***

·        No larger than 2880 pixels on either side

·        Max upload 10 MB

·        Submitted by the artist/maker. Please do not submit images of artworks made by anyone other than yourself.


Accepted artwork must arrive at Awita Gallery by Sept 30th.

  • Artwork Drop-off / Arrival: September 30- NO EXCEPTIONS

  • Exhibition Dates: October 2–6

  • Opening Reception: Friday, October 3rd | 6–9 PM

  • Artwork Pick-up / Return Shipping: October 7- Non-local artworks will be shipped back to artist at IAA-USA's expense. Insurance will not exceed $1000. For local pickup, arrange with gallery.



You, THE ARTIST, must own all submitted images, and you retain copyright to all photos submitted. By submitting artwork images for this exhibit, THE ARTIST gives permission to IAA-USA and the Awita Gallery to use those images for exhibit and for promotion of the exhibit and a potential virtual exhibit to publish on Youtube. Sales commission agreement for IAA-USA members is 70/30 artist/gallery. *By submitting, the artist claims that the artwork was created by a human hand and disavows any use of AI. ARTIST acknowledges that other parties may link or share images on social media platforms and that IAA-USA and the International Association of Artists have no control over image sharing by others.
