An Open Call for Art….

 

The IAA-USA has partnered with the Los Angeles Cancer Network to exhibit our member’s work in their facilities. Non-members can apply too, and if accepted, and the membership fee paid, you can qualify to exhibit.

We are thrilled to be able to provide artwork for the facilities that are used by patients who are there for hours while receiving treatment and would greatly benefit from having beautiful art to look at while visiting. Your work would be exhibited for sale with each work having a placard with the price and your contact information. Artists keep 100% of the sales. To submit your artwork for consideration, please follow the instructions below.

Submission Guidelines and Instructions

  • IAA-USA and Los Angeles Cancer Network Partnership

  • Subject Matter: Any subject that is family friendly

  • Accepted Mediums:

    • Paintings/Mixed Media

    • Limited Edition Prints

    • Photography


  • Displayed Art pieces must have a 8” x 10” minimum and 40” x 40” maximum and cannot weigh more than 15 pounds. Please name your files with Last Name/Title  ( ie: Jones/MyArt) and send no larger than 15MB. 

  • Each submission must be no larger than 1520x2880 pixels, 4x3 ratio. Maximum upload 15 MB.

  • Important: Please place LA Cancer in Subject Bar

  • Artists can apply multiple times and in different categories. No Deadline as this is an ongoing project.

  •  $35.00 initial submission fee of up to five images. (Free if you are a current IAA-USA member)

    • Non-Members: Applications are online only and must show proof of payment to be accepted.*

  • All selected work will be exhibited for a minimum of 3 months at any of La Cancer Network’s 12 locations in the greater Los Angeles area.

  • IAA-USA Submissions Committee will judge the first round and final acceptance will be made by LACN.

Artist Agreement/Waiver

I, the undersigned

Agree to loan my art for the purpose of exhibition to Los Angeles Hematology

Oncology Medical Group d/b/a The Los Angeles Cancer Network (“LACN”)

through the International Association of Art - USA (IAA-USA) and in doing so, release

both said organizations from any liability for damage to said art piece.

I declare that the loaned art piece has a value of $ and

1. Is insured through my own insurance policy for loss or bodily or physical damage

it may cause OR

2. Is not insured and I waive the right to seek reparations for damaged or lost

artwork.

I agree to deliver or ship artwork to

1. The the agreed upon location of installation one of 12 offices (“LACN”)

2.  Incur all shipping costs to and from above locations

I agree to furnish LACN up to date contact information and purchase price of each loaned

artwork. LACN will post placards with information next to each artwork. All sales of

artwork will be handled between I, the undersigned artist, and the purchaser who contacts

me directly. I, the undersigned artist, will receive 100% of proceeds.

I understand that if I would like to have the sale of my artwork handled by IAA/USA, a

10% handling fee will be deducted from your profit.
