By appointment only otherwise | April 1 - 30, 2018
In honor of World Art Day, this exhibition was created to portray the flight of the past and the grit and depth of Los Angeles, a city in flux.
Urban change and dynamic rebirth are happening in the city, which has become a mecca for those looking for creative opportunity and new beginnings. Los Angeles is the place to be and the place to be seen. At the core of this work is a rush to capture the common elements of life that exist here now, but are quickly disappearing. Working with both film and digital photography, the story is told using the absence of people in each scene allowing the viewer to notice the marks made by humanity suggesting strength, wonder, and transition.
A series of 16 x 20 black and white prints will be on display through April at the Carol Cirillo Stanley Studio Gallery.
